The Barn on Boundary
The Barn on Boundary provides a rustic elegance for leaving a lasting impression on you and your guests. Our barn gives you 8,600 sq. ft. of floor space with 2 levels to have your wedding ceremony upstairs while having your reception downstairs with outdoor ceremony options as well. We rent our barn for the entire weekend so it’s less stress on you and your families. What makes our barn venue unique is the original details throughout the barn. Our barn has original timbers with the bark still intact from the early 1900’s, horse stalls with the horses name still handwritten from the past, old love letters from 1912 that were found while renovating, and a hand built bar made out of original barn gates. The barn sits on 220 acres of open country side with grain bins and a pond. The beautiful open countryside setting, and the elegance of chandeliers with the ambiance of cozy string lighting throughout the barn is a photographer’s dream. All generations can appreciate the history and architecture of what our barn can offer. We take great pride in providing families with an experience and atmosphere to make their event memorable.

The Lodge at River Valley Farm
The venue that features 5,000 square feet of total air-conditioned and heated space. Guests of The Lodge are greeted by three oversized spouting boulders. Ample seating by the way of benches and rockers make this a tranquil place for guests to relax. Once inside, we offer three distinct rooms rolled into one openly planned floor space. We start out with the reception room past the three french entrance doors. There is also a complete catering kitchen equipped with all the necessities. From there, we lead you to the open dance area/multi purpose room in which the beams are wrapped in both twinkle lights and flowing fabric. To the left of this room are indoor restrooms for both men and women consisting of three stalls each. As we pass through another duo of french doors, we enter the 2,500 square foot dining area with its massive stone fireplace and beautiful hand-crafted mantel. There are two doors to each side of the fireplace that lead to a bench lined covered porch overlooking the woods to the south side. All of this has been professionally landscaped with the flowers changed out with the season.
Also on the property is the original farm house that has been completely renovated to be used in our bridal packages and as an office for our event coordination services. We are currently offering a bridal slumber party for the bride and her bridesmaids to stay in the farm house the night prior to her big day! We offer both indoor and outdoor ceremony sites. Should the weather not cooperate on your special day, we are fully prepared for an alternate plan.

Horizon Convention Center
The Horizon Convention Center is an innovative mix of historic beauty and modern design.
Formerly Muncie’s Federal Building, the Horizon Convention Center features a glass-enclosed pavilion, outdoor terrace, and the classical splendor of the lobby’s original interior. A 1996 expansion increased the facility’s meeting space to 47,000 square feet.
The Horizon Convention Center also boasts the second largest children’s museum in the state and is proximate to the newly revitalized downtown area, which offers a variety of restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. These are just a few of the amenities that the city offers in the way of leisure-time activities for guests to our facility.
The attached 150-room Courtyard by Marriott offers ease of accessibility to sleeping rooms and Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company. This unique hotel also houses the Erskine Green Training Institute, a post-secondary hospitality training center for people with disabilities. Located right down town, and adjoined with the Convention Center, it is the perfect place to stay while attending an event at the Horizon Convention Center.
