Gibson Skating Rink
Gibson Arena was founded by Ann (Gibson) Sheridan’s dad, Earl Gibson, and his brothers. Originally built as an ice skating rink that hosted ice hockey as well as public ice skating sessions the rink was converted to roller skating. Concerts by local bands in the 60’s & 70’s shared time with roller skating. Ann & George bought the rink from her parents in the late 60’s and have been providing a fun and safe place for kids and families ever since. Their children help run the day to day operations and continue the traditions started over 75 years ago.
2610 S Mock Ave (1.86 mi), Muncie.
