The oldest standing structure in downtown Muncie, built in approximately 1849. Owned by four generations of the same family from 1864 to 1982. Contains original Moore family furnishings.

Muncie Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is a professional orchestra that employs professional musicians from the tri-state area and was originated in 1947, MSO all-year round calendar includes classical subscription concerts, chamber events, educational outreach programs and community concerts. Oakhurst Gardens

Oakhurst includes six acres of gardens and the renovated 1895 home of George and Frances Ball and their daughter, Elisabeth. Oakhurst provides a tranquil backyard setting for the study and appreciation of the natural world around us. Visit Discovery Cabin, a hands-on information station with many resources to help you explore the gardens. Oakhurst Gardens is open year round.
